The class provides a supportive, hands-on environment where beginners can develop their skills and confidence with acrylic paints. Students will need to bring their own supplies (estimated $50). The class provides a supportive, hands-on environment where beginners can develop their skills and confidence with acrylic paints. Students will need to bring their own supplies (estimated $50). Supply list will be provided by instructor.

6:30 PM - 7:30 PM	Creekside Adventures - Creekside Adventures | July 24 Join Franklin Soil & Water Conservation District and Parks and Recreation for a creek adventure. Participants investigate what lives below the surface of a local stream and participate in scientific sampling techniques to determine the health of the stream based on the macroinvertebrates collected. Please be prepared to wade into the water (up to our knees) to collect specimens. We recommend sturdy shoes that can get wet (old sneakers, rubber boots, crocs or other closed-toed water shoes). Children 6 and younger should be accompanied by an adult.

Parents are welcome and encouraged to register as well.

The class provides a supportive, hands-on environment where beginners can develop their skills and confidence with acrylic paints. Students will need to bring their own supplies (estimated $50). While mindfulness has its roots in meditation, it can be practiced through activities such as art-making. Mindful art is about using art-making as a way to be in the present moment. You are simply allowing yourself to make whatever marks you feel like in the moment without concern for the end result. It's about the process, not the outcome. You will learn mindful art practices that promote relaxation, stress relief, and an increased sense of well-being. These are simple exercises anyone can do regardless of skill level. Teams will play a game schedule that will include both home games and away games. Game days could be any day MON-SUN. All teams will participate in an end of season tournament. 6:30 PM - 8:00 PM	Karate - Kids in Karate & Adults Too Provides students with a positive and wholesome training program in that important transitional time between the school day and the evening at home. As well as learning “TAE KWON DO”, students are being trained to respect themselves and others, exercise self-control, develop self-pride, care for fellow students, respect their parents, teachers, school and all others in the community and it is fun, fun fun!Directed by Grandmaster Jon Stephens of Free Spirit LLC and his staff of training instructors, this program sets out to help students improve sports and school performance while developing social skills. Parents are welcome and encouraged to register as well.
