Rock Hoppers - Rock Hoppers Participants investigate what lives below the surface of a local stream and participate in scientific sampling techniques to determine the health of the stream based on the macroinvertebrates collected. Please be prepared to wade into the water (up to our knees) to collect specimens. We recommend sturdy shoes that can get wet (old sneakers, rubber boots, crocs or other closed-toed water shoes).
